The Archdiocese of Santa Fe (ASF) Institutional Abuse Collection was created as a part of the 2022 settlement agreement between the ASF and survivors of clerical sexual abuse. The final settlement included approximately 400 claims of abuse taking place between the 1950s and the 2010s. Documents include deposition transcripts, personnel files, meeting minutes, and proofs of claim. These records are online and available to the public with redactions to protect the privacy of claimants and their families.

The collection is separated into three main series. Series 1, Archdiocese of Santa Fe Abuse Records, contains all the documents provided by the ASF for inclusion within the archives. Series 2, Hall and Monagle LLC Records, contains the documents provided by one of the law firms which represented claimants for the Archdiocese’s bankruptcy and settlement case. Series 3, UNM Events and Scholarship, will grow as the CSWR develops events and scholarship related to the collection in academics as well as outreach to relevant communities. Further accessions are welcome from anyone who wishes to opt-in with relevant records
