Personnel-Type Files

The files in this series were described as “Personnel-Type” by Hall & Monagle, LCC. Files include traditional personnel files from the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, The Servants of the Paraclete, and other dioceses. Additionally, personnel-type files include news clippings, interview transcripts, internal investigation records, correspondence, and other documents used by Hall & Monagle throughout legal proceedings against the Archdiocese of Santa Fe.

Hall & Monagle organized their personnel-type files by individual, primarily clergy. Much of this organization has been maintained in their original folders, meaning that some folders may contain material such as interviews and personnel files of other individuals, including other priests and church officials. Deposition transcripts in this series were moved to the Hall & Monagle Depositions series, and can be linked to their original personnel-type file by item title or folder location.

In the case that all files in a specific individual’s folder clearly relate to that person, the records are now collected in the “Other Personnel-Type Files” folder in order to simplify access.
