Abstract
This study of the Spanish of San Antonito is an analysis and description of the phonology and the morphology of the dialect of a small mountain town east of Albuquerque. The aim of the study is twofold: to provide an objective description of a spoken Spanish dialect and to help establish a closer harmony between the related fields of language and linguistics by applying the methods of general linguistics to the material of Spanish philology.
