The NMOER Consortium’s Data Collection initiative gathers course, student, and outcome data to evaluate the impact of Open Educational Resources (OER) on student success, retention, and affordability. By analyzing metrics such as enrollment, grades, withdrawal rates, textbook cost savings, and demographic trends across participating institutions, the program provides evidence of OER effectiveness. The collected data also supports ongoing assessment of OER adoption and helps guide efforts to expand access to affordable educational resources throughout New Mexico.
