Born in Chacon, NM, Mora County, on Aug. 23, 1908. Family Genealogy, he was the eldest of nine children. His parents moved to Springer in 1909 as his father worked  in the construction of the First National Bank building, His family always lived in Springer. Cuento de los gatos, el viejito y su hijo que comía solo carne de lomo. Memories of school, him as member of the school board, Ranching, Farming, Cuento sobre gatos y un cuento sobre un papa y su hijo, hierbas para curar. Recalling the dates of his parents passing. Local people and people in San Andres, part of the Merced of  Maxwell [Land Grant]. A story about Indians who used to raid and kidnap young children. Los Apaches used to kidnap children and the Mexicanos also used to capture Indian children to raised them in their homes. His grandparents raised Indian kids who took the Vigil name.
