Born in 1891 in La Cueva. Family genealogy, he used to shepherd sheep and cattle when he was young, attended the public school in Buena Vista. He remembers that José Manuel Arellano was a poet. His memories of people in Mora who used to move by cars pulled by horses, describes horses. Ranch work: people used horses to plow fields, economy was based on the production of crops and livestock, especially sheep. Villages around used to be more populated in the past than at present. Remembering local people in Mora, land conflict between the town of Coyote and La Cueva, Seferino Martinez a prominent figure from Guadalupita. His educational experiences in Spanish and English while attending school. School schedule at that time was open only in winter. He married a widow [Matilde Vigil] but he didn't have children only step-children. He never worked for anybody. He worked in his father's ranch and later on his own ranch. He served in WWI and talks about veterans of WWI in Mora.
