Continued: Armijo wanted him to be sentenced to 15- 20 years in prison and his conversations with some jurors to fight false accusations and plot against him. Politicians in San Miguel and elections, the local government was authoritarian and abusive, the county was named 'Condado Imperial' some politicians that supported that regime were: Armijo, Lorenzo Delgado, C. Rivera, Gallegos, Severo Lucero among others, elections and his participation running for the city council. He continues encouraging the interviewers to help with his plan to start new mining extraction controlled by the government but managed by the people to benefit the NM people. Closed gold mines in San Miguel and Guadalupe counties, and other stories about mining en la Merced de Ortiz [The Ortiz Mountains]. Story of Thomas B. Catron's process of land expropriation in Ortiz, Catron's dirty strategies to intimidate elders in Ortiz to get their lands. His early attempts to start activism for the defense of small land owners, but he was too young to be considered by the elder members of the town. Another story of Catron's attempt to start land expropriation in Mora, but the local people did not react well and wanted to lynch him. Later, a livestock company came to fence lands that were not farmed in Mora for their cattle, and other stories about his life as an activist.
