Abstract
This critical reflection incorporates the perspectives of two undergraduates students and one professor on the importance of Chicana femotorship in academia. United through the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship program, these two students and one professor developed a reciprocal relationship once they began working together. Here they reflect on some of the most important experiences during their mentorship tenure and their advice for engaging in similar reciprocal femtorships.
