Abstract
Monthly Bulletin of the Employment Security Commission of New Mexico (March 1948) presents a detailed analysis of employment conditions, unemployment compensation, veterans' readjustment allowances, and employment service activities in New Mexico during March 1948. A featured article introduces a new cooperative program between the Employment Security Commission and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics to produce current employment estimates for major industry groups, including manufacturing, mining, transportation and utilities, trade, finance and real estate, and services. Extensive statistical tables provide county-level benefit data, local employment office activities, unemployment compensation claims, veterans' claims, and employer coverage information.
