Abstract
This report analyzes the growth of financial institutions and credit markets in New Mexico, documenting the expansion of banks, savings and loan associations, credit unions, and consumer lending during the 1950s. It also reports improving business conditions in 1961, including gains in banking activity, mineral production, construction contracts, and employment.
