Abstract
The report compares Arizona's system of unlimited branch banking with New Mexico's limited branch banking structure, arguing that broader branching contributed to stronger economic development and wider availability of credit in Arizona. The issue also reviews New Mexico’s 1960 economic adjustment period, noting slower growth than the record-setting year of 1959 but continued strength relative to 1958.
