Abstract

Problem. This study was undertaken to discover if spelling would be improved if the words to be learned were based on some other area of the curriculum and were a natural outgrowth of the activities in that area, rather than an arbitrary list taken from the spelling workbook currently in use in the Albuquerque Public Schools.
