The largest metropolitan areas are those of Porto Alegre (RS, 2.6 million) and Curitiba (PR, 1.8 million), though numerous medium-size cities are developing.Ponto de ónibus no centro de Curitiba (PR). Além destas, outras numerosas cidades de tamanho médio estão se desenvolvendo.
