In Paraná the Serra Geral (which never reaches elevations over 2,000 meters) spreads out into various plateaus which cut through the center of the state, on one of which the state capital, Curitiba, is located.Teatro Guaíra, cercado com pinheiros de araucária, no centro de Curitiba (PR). No Paraná a Serra Geral, que nunca atinge uma elevação superior a 2.000m, se estende a vários planaltos que cortam o centro do estado. Num desses localiza-se Curitiba, a capital do estado do Paraná.
