Abstract

This report presents a special tabulation of 1970 U.S. Census occupational data for New Mexico, detailing employment across 440 occupation categories by county, planning district, industry, and class of worker. Produced from the Census Bureau’s 20 percent sample, it was designed to support labor market analysis, economic planning, and workforce research while documenting the occupational structure of New Mexico’s economy.
