Abstract

The report evaluates existing uranium mining and milling activity, projected industry expansion, population growth, public-service demands, government revenues, and environmental impacts associated with increased nuclear-fuel production. The report analyzes anticipated growth resulting from federal energy policies that promoted expanded nuclear power generation and reviews development plans of major uranium companies operating throughout the district
