His father was an heir of the Merced de Atrisco but he never applied to claim land in Atrisco. Family genealogy. Memories of his time serving in WWII and working in the sawmill: the New Mexico Timber Company. He had an accident while working in the sawmill that ended up with a surgery to remove some kind of tumor. Afterwards, he moved to another sawmill The Duke City Lumber Company where he worked for many years until he retired. Talks about his children and their ages. He started to play the accordion in 1946. A funny story about how he found an accordion during his military service.
