Conversation starts with participant's consent to be interviewed. The heirship case in New Mexico to prove the legitimacy of owning lands in la Merced de Atrisco. The process of presenting evidence of being a legitimate heir or descendant of the original owner or beneficiary of the Merced to continue holding land rights as owners. He lost his land rights when the Merced was converted into Westland Corporation. Account of how he fought for recovering his land rights and the eventual loss of his land. Las Pastorelas in Atrisco; a tradition that people celebrated to commemorate the birth of Jesus. His participation in las Pastorelas and how local people used to accompany la Pastorela in processions over night on Christmas Eve.
