(Approx. date) 83 Years old, born in 1892, Politics: The Republican party dominated in New Mexico especially the San Miguel County. Only his father, Cipriano Lujan, Antonio Lucero, Ezequiel C. de Baca y Larrazolo led the Democrat party in that area. Being democrat was almost a crime at that time until FDR became president and changed the opinion of many local people because he worked for the people and created important social programs. Sacramento Baca (Democrat), Ezquiel C. de Baca became Governor but died while in office and his secretary Antonio Lucero were the first democrat to win the elections for public service. The republicans used to call them 'la yunta'. San Miguel county was mostly managed by Hispanic officials, Los Romero, Seferino Quintana, and other democrats. Don Frank became Treasurer of the County in 1939 as per request of the Democratic Convention. He had been involved in politics as a democrat since he was a young man.
