His views of the existence of two-political parties and the lack of union to get good leadership in the country, his experiences in national conferences learning about who really held the economic and political power. A story about one of his friends who lived in Russia and her perceptions of the political affairs there. An anecdote about a local Catholic pastor who tried to persuade him to give up his leadership in the Liga Obrera. His attendance to the NM universities convention, challenges faced by the Liga Obrera during economic depression and the establishment of the Labor Party, which eventually came to an end as one of the leaders parted ways to join the Democratic party in San Miguel.
