Continued: stories about a couple of American women who wanted her to train them as midwives, but they could not follow her instructions and ended up leaving. Memories of her young years when she used to sing and play the guitar. Stories about his son Ernesto who served in WWII and was based in Germany. When she was a young girl, she used to work hard in her grandparents' ranch, helping with the sheep and goat herding. Her grandmother started as a midwife when she was 19 and her great grandmother was also a midwife. Doña Jesusita says her real surname is Wallace as she is coyota [racially mixed] of mexican and german, but she was registered as Aragón, her step father's name. Her grandfather's name was Thomas Wallace from Watrous. La Función de San Isidro en Trujillo with processions, food and bailes [parties]. She was a good dancer and won prizes in the parties. Changes in society and culture: there's no respect among people, women are more independent but they do not raise their children because they go out to work, so they hire other women [babysitters] to take care of their children. Her  friendship with Virginia Alanis who helps her as an interpreter to talk with other midwives and health workers. A story about an American woman who wanted her to assist with her childbirth and had a 13 lbs. baby. Sometimes her former patients bring their kids to visit her, so she can see the grown up babies she helped to be born. She is very grateful to God for her healthy and long life. She never smoked. Memories of her faith in God and prayers since she was a child in the fields while sheep herding. She used to read a lot when she was a little girl. She remembers that she used to learn things by heart when she was in school. She had a very good memory.
