[In video collection] Continued: Attending school in Buena Vista, instruction was in English, his teachers, and the bilingual education he received from good teachers. He finished school when he was 18 or 19. Commuting to school on foot. During winter he used to stay at his grandmother's to attend school, books were paid by the parents. He used to work in the 'traque' [the railroad], but only seasonally. He didn't stay in that job. There were camps and housing for the railroad workers. Memories of his second wedding and local people, politicians, and his participation in the politics as a Republican. His views on how society has changed. Clorinda talks about her memories of school in Buena Vista, her parents and life in La Cueva [a small community in Mora County.]. Conversation ends with some comments about the weather.
