Abstract
The purposes of this study of internal accounting reports in the alcoholic beverage industry in New Mexico are to determine the types of reports being prepared, to determine the uses being made of the reports, and to relate, by means of a sample, the costs of preparing these reports to the effects of their usage on profits. The term "internal accounting reports" is used in this study to mean reports containing accounting information which are directed to non-accounting personnel within the firm.
