Abstract
Monthly Bulletin of the Employment Security Commission of New Mexico (October 1948) provides a detailed examination of employment conditions, unemployment compensation activity, veterans' benefits, employment service operations, and employer coverage in New Mexico during October 1948. A featured article highlights National Employ the Physically Handicapped Week and the state's efforts to expand employment opportunities for workers with disabilities. Working with state and federal agencies, the Employment Security Commission promoted awareness among employers regarding the skills and capabilities of disabled workers.
