Abstract

Monthly Bulletin of the Employment Security Commission of New Mexico (August 1947) presents a comprehensive review of employment conditions, unemployment compensation activity, veterans' benefits, employer coverage, and workforce trends in New Mexico during August 1947. Prepared by the Department of Research and Statistics of the Employment Security Commission of New Mexico, the bulletin reports continued declines in unemployment benefit payments as seasonal labor demand remained strong in agriculture, railroad maintenance, and related industries.
