Abstract
To qualify for election to the State Senate as required by the New Mexico Constitution, a candidate must (1) be a citizen of the United States; (2) be a resident of New Mexico for at least three years preceding his election; (3) be a qualified elector of his district; and (4) be not less than twenty-five years of age. Immediately following are short biographical sketches of twenty-three of New Mexico’s State Senators.
