Abstract
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) agriculture is one of the most hazardous industries in the United States (2021). Data shows the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in farmers is high, with a lifetime prevalence of any form of musculoskeletal disorder at 90.6% (Osborne et. al., 2012). Men tend to be injured more often especially when working with farm machinery (Dimich-Ward et. al., 2004). Animal related injuries dominated for women (Dimich-Ward et. al., 2004). This research suggests that farming injuries could be different depending on the gender of the worker and the work they do.
