Looking at pictures of the village where she grew up (El Llano de San Isidro), her grand parents, describing family members and neighbors. Conversation about family as farmers. Economy was very challenging, so they had to move to other places (Colorado) for a better economic future, but eventually they returned to Córdova and Truchas. Life in Truchas, matrimonios entre primos hermanos porque los viejitos de antes no querían que sus hijos se casaran con gente que no conocieran. Crops trade at la tienda [grocery store], poverty and economic struggle but happy people and good neighbors. Cutting wood and storing it for warming the houses during the long cold weather in Truchas, family relations, and piñon trade.
