Abstract
This thesis is a study of the uses of the cases in the first part of the Annales Ricardi Secundi et Henrici Quarti Regum Angliae, which deals with Richard the Second only. The material is found in pp. 155-281 of the volume entitled Chronica Monasterii de Blaneford, Monachorukm S. Albani: Necnon Quorundam Anonymorum, Chronica at Anales, Regnantibus Henrico Tertio; Edwardo Primo, Edwardo Secundo, Ricardo Secundo, et Henrico Quarto, A.D. 1259-1296; 1307-1324; 1392-1406, edited by Henry Thomas Riley, M.A., of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge; and of the Inner Temple, Barrister-at-Law, published by the authority of the Lords Commisioners of her Majesty's Treasury, under the direction of the Master of the Rolls, London; (Longman's, Green, Reader, and Dyer,) 1866. This book is one of the seventy-seven volume series Rerum Britannicarum Medil Aevi Scriptores, or The Chronicles and Memorials of Great Britian and Ireland during the Middle Ages. The text was formed from a collation of the extant MSS.
