Aims & Scope
Intersecciones Hispánicas: Revista de Cultura, Literatura y Lingüística is an interdisciplinary and multilingual journal dedicated to strengthening cultural ties between the Hispanophone world and its speakers. Our journal’s axis encompasses cultural, literary, and linguistics studies and interrelated fields to advance the dissemination of contemporary Hispanism, without borders.
Our goal is to:
- Support and promote scholars, especially graduate students, engaged in the intellectual fields related to the study of the Spanish language and its connections to other languages
- Provide a space for artists, activists, scholars, and writers to exchange and disseminate ideas
- Promote open access as a means to widen access/accessibility of the Hispanophone world and its speakers
- Provide critical and supportive editing practices and experiences
- Publish multilingually, primarily in Spanish and English, while also supporting scholarship of the Lusophone world and the languages of the Americas.
- Act as a bridge between graduate student voices and cultural, literary, and linguistic scholarship of the Hispanophone world
