Abstract

Faculty can be intimidating. Many students feel uncomfortable approaching an instructor to ask questions because they are intimated. Removing those barriers can facilitate open communication that fosters student success in the classroom. This session will cover personal success stories of innovative ways to breakdown barriers in the classroom to make faculty more approachable to students.
