Abstract
The purpose of this work is to help educators improve assessments using item analysis. It is important to assess if the student made a connection of what was taught or learned. If exams are too easy this could lead to low motivation, or exams are too hard it could lead to student frustration or lack of confidence. The purpose of this poster will teach the teacher on how to interpret assessments using item analysis both item quality (difficulty index, discrimination index, and point biserial), and exam quality (Kuder-Richardson 20 (KR-20).
