Abstract
Non-Expert Summary: People with stroke are at an increased risk for recurrent stroke, heart disease, cognitive decline, and general decline in health and function after returning to community living. This poster describes the protocol and study progress for a pilot intervention project that is designed to provide metacognitive strategy training and vascular risk factor reduction education in people with stroke and residual cognitive deficits like executive dysfunction.
