Abstract
This report presents state-by-state labor market and employment security data for late 1953, including employment service activities, unemployment insurance claims, placements, referrals, and employer contacts. It also includes detailed analyses of dependents’ allowances, benefit payment timeliness, interstate claims activity, and workforce service utilization by women and handicapped workers.
