Abstract
This report provides detailed state-by-state employment security and labor market data for late 1953, including employment service activities, unemployment compensation operations, placements, referrals, employer contacts, and workforce characteristics for women and handicapped workers. It also contains special analyses of dependents’ allowances under unemployment insurance programs and contribution operations across participating states.
