Abstract
This report evaluates New Mexico's workforce training and economic development needs in 1971, emphasizing the importance of state-supported in-plant labor training programs to attract and retain industry. It compares New Mexico's employment challenges and training initiatives with those of other states while documenting the role of vocational education in expanding job opportunities and supporting industrial growth.
