Abstract
The New Mexico Manpower Review was prepared by the Research and Statistics section for the Employment Security Commission of New Mexico for Janruary of 1974. It is a report on the state's employment and economic activity; there were significant increases in unemployment and benefit claims for New Mexico. Energy-related causes were one reason, as the lodging industry also lost jobs. Construction, trade, and state government experienced job losses, while the mining industry performed well compared to the previous year because of uranium extraction.
