Abstract
The New Mexico Labor Market Review was prepared by the Research and Statistics section for the Employment Security Commission of New Mexico for January of 1976. It is a report on the state's employment and economic activity; there were no improvements to unemployment in January as the adjusted rate continued to remain at 7.5% from November 1975. The national unemployment rate fell but was still higher than New Mexico. Total unemployment decreased but was expected through seasonal layoffs in the trade, construction, government, and manufacturing sectors.
