Abstract
Land has always been one of the basic causes for conflict, advancement, enjoyment, and social status in the history of man. Man will kill to possess the land. Men will give their lives to protect their right to own land. Men will literally work themselves to death to hold and bring forth produce from the land. Man, dependent upon the land for life. He also utilizes the subsoil resources of the land to enrich his life. He obtains precious metals to facilitate commerce, and sources of energy for mechanical devices and heating.
