Abstract

You see, there was this kid about my age, and we were sitting on my driveway in Cupertino, California, and all of a sudden like he springs it on me: "There ain't no Santa Claus." Well, you can imagine what something drastic like this does to an impressionable kid barely out of diapers. I turned to poetry.
