Abstract
The clinical model of reading as a communication process provided a theoretical basis for this study. This exploratory research was carried out to investigate the relationships between the Illinois Test of Psycholinguistic Abilities, Revised Edition, reading perform2nce, and IQ of children in regular third-grade classrooms.
