Abstract
It is the purpose of this study (1) to relate the unusual early history of Mountain View School; (2) to show the steady advancement in education of the local community; (3) to present the value of this undertaking in regard to adult educational and social benefits as well as pupil benefits; and (4) to determine what benefits a community derives from possessing a good elementary school.
