Abstract
The organization and administration of the modern private-resident camp has become an important and complex responsibility. Camp directors and others who share the responsibilities of administration for the modern camp have been dependent upon a combination of practices adapted from fields related to camping and those acquired directly from camping experiences. The camp director and administrator should have developed some sound basis for his specific camp operation and the methods employed to accomplish the goals of the camp.
