Abstract
It has been shown that tellurium tetrachloride combines additively with aliphatic others yielding hygroscopic compounds of the type R2O•TeCl4, but with mixed ethers, containing both alkyl and aryl radicals, substitution takes place with the elimination of hydrogen chloride.
