Abstract

It was the purpose of this thesis to evaluate the Beggs deformeter in two-dimensional structural frames and then investigate the possible use in three-dimensional structural frames. It is intended in dealing with the subject to explain and describe the deformeter apparatus and verify the theoretical principle through actual structural model analysis.
