Description
50. Paisagem a Brodósqui, 1940. This painting belongs to Portinari's lyrical series of paintings calied Meninos de Brodósqui which recall the artist's childhood in that locale. The jaunty figures and red earth of rural São Paulo State are portrayed with affection through the lens of nostalgia.
