In this region where water and rain forest predominate the boat becomes the principle means of transportation and communication.Pequenas canoas são essenciais para penetrar mata adentro nos inúmeros rios afluentes, muitas vezes estreitos e sinuosos. Nesta região onde predominam água e floresta equatorial, o barco toma-se o principal meio de transporte e comunicação.
