Abstract

This report provides historical data and projections for population, employment, and real per capita income for New Mexico and all counties from 1970 through 2000. Using cohort-component population methods and county-level economic analysis, the report examines demographic trends, labor markets, income growth, migration patterns, and long-range socioeconomic forecasts to support state and local planning.
