Abstract

This report his report provides a comprehensive socioeconomic assessment of the Rio Puerco-Rio Salado watershed region, examining demographic, economic, agricultural, water resource, government finance, and infrastructure conditions across portions of seven New Mexico counties. It also develops long-term population, employment, and income projections while evaluating the implications of uranium development, water constraints, and regional growth trends.
