Born in 1906. Family genealogy, born and raised in Armijo. His father was a farmer and worked as a sheep shepherd. The general stores in Armijo. Families in Armijo relied on farming their land and working as sheep shepherds. Funeral practices in Armijo. He attended school in Armijo that was located on a plot that his father, Miramon Sánchez donated to the community. Carrying guns was not common except for hunting. The first Medical doctors in the area: Dr. Clayton, Dr. Wilson. The fist land line telephone owned by one of his uncles. Memories of his time as working for the state building roads. This area used to be the Ranchos de Atrisco, but it changed its name to Armijo when the first post office was located at José Armijo's store.
